โ How's it goin', Reader? I truly hope your summer is going along swimmingly โ whether you've been poolside or not ๐. This week, I have a few summer updates and some fun celebration inspiration to share with you. ๐ข News & UpdatesSeattle Trip - our little family took our first big, post-COVID vacay and visited the Pacific Northwest. What a difference from hot, humid, sunny, and FLAT Florida ๐! We had an amazing time and would love to visit again soon. Back to Designing - In case you didn't know, I'm a graphic designer who shifted into teaching Graphic Design to middle schoolers for a few years. One of our biggest projects each year was the school's yearbook. Last month, I had the opportunity to design a couple of yearbook templates to help advisers create cohesive books. It was so refreshing to design without the pressure of selling it to a school community! It took a lot of time, but the spreads turned out awesome! These projects kept me away from The Paper Jamboree for a bit, but I'm back and ready to dive in! I'll be working hard on my website and blog, and posting behind the scenes on... I'm planning some fun and practical content and would love for you to join in! ๐ Celebration InspirationAn easy way to incorporate silly celebrations into your every day is by utilizing an every-day-is-a-holiday type of wall or desk calendar. Whether the holiday is a legitimate one or just for fun, this is one of the simplest solutions for planning ahead and transforming a mundane day into something delightfully memorable!
